I don’t want to be a carpenter.

This is a children’s book project for my MA in Children’s Book Illustration. I created it to try to convey an interesting conflict and a good range of emotions focusing on the relationship between father and son and by adding some personal elements. I wanted to create a simple and effective visual narrative and study the use of light, colour, characterization and composition to achieve different feelings and ideas.
