One day in Cambridge.

These are few pages of a wordless comic that I created for my MA in Children’s Book Illustration. I wanted to learn the possibilities of sequential image and to investigate action, interaction and pace through the idea of a relay of characters.

These pages show a change of pace where I investigate an intimate exploration of conflict and feelings.

I used nibs, black ink and watercolour on paper. I tried to use a very simple technique to support communication. This allowed me to convey a fluid, energetic visual identity sustained through the images, which is close to how I worked in my sketchbooks.
